Toot's Review by Stacy Sabala

Tod is supposed to be keeping his brother out of trouble.  Nash likes to go for the girls that have a record or are more trouble than they are worth.  He tends to play with fire a lot.  In fact, there is more to this family than anyone knows.  They aren’t human.  So, when the accident happens, Tod is given a choice.  Either way he chooses it is going to suck.  The author presents such an impossible choice.  He, of course, chooses what the kid wants him to. 

It is definitely a morbid story.  However, it is short and obviously setting the stage for a series.  I hope there is more for Tod than he has right now.  The path he has chosen is going to be long and tough.  He is a good guy and I can’t wait to see more of him.  It was a good read.  I give it a 3 out of 5.
