Book Blurb
After the inexplicable disappearance of Lilly Taylor's parents, she has no choice but to move to Canada where she unravels some frightening yet intriguing family secrets...
Her whole life had been based on a lie. Lilly had grown up in a loveless home with a father who she had barely ever seen and a mother who was... well, not very motherly.
After they mysteriously disappear without a trace, Lilly is sent to Canada where she finds a whole new way of life. A life filled with love and people who care for her. But that's not all she discovers, Lilly also finds out that she isn't who, or what, she thinks she is.
Lilly has a very special ability and it's just a matter of time before her true self starts to shine. And when it does, her life will never be the same again.

Toot's Review by Stacy Sabala
Lily has
spent her life in a flat in London with her father and her mother until they
both disappeared one day. She goes to
live with her grandfather in Canada. She
doesn’t know him at all and doesn’t know what to expect.
The author
introduces Lily to this new family and reveals some pretty spectacular
secrets. Her mother and father were
shape-shifters. She had a sister. Her family secrets are tragic. Her world completely changes as she is
introduced to a supernatural world. She
finds love but loses it because of what she is.
An evil witch comes back into her life as she learns how to change into
what she is destined to be. She finds
the truth of what is happening to those who disappeared and bringing someone lost
home.
The journey
Lily is on, is one the author present, saves her from the life she was forced
to endure. Her naivety is sad as she
didn’t know anything different. I hate
the loneliness and isolation she was forced into. Then the instant family is completely
overwhelming. She has no idea how to
relate or even communicate with them all.
She is so unsure of herself until Sammy appears.
Some of the
twists and turns were surprising. I
wasn’t expecting how things ended up with her love life and Gabriel’s
decision. It was a good read. I give it a 4 out of 5.
