Book Blurb
What appears to be a tricked-out motorcycle shop on the South Side of Chicago is actually headquarters for the world's most elite covert operatives. Deadly, dangerous, and determined, they'll steal your breath and your heart.
Fighting for his life is pretty much standard operating procedure for Christian Watson, former SAS Officer. Doing it with bossy, beautiful BKI office manager Emily Scott in tow is another matter entirely.

Toot's Review by Stacy Sabala
I love this
series and this book was fun to read. I was waiting for Christian and Emily to
give into the sparks that flew between them.
They both drove the other crazy.
It has been fun reading their interactions with each other. This book also sheds light on both their
pasts. Christian’s issues are pretty
dark. His childhood was not fabulous,
and you understand more about his quirks.
Emily’s
childhood wasn’t dark, but it wasn’t good either. She really works herself up about love. I was a bit disappointed in the fact that she
comes off so tough but was, in reality, a big fat coward. That really bothered me. She automatically believes she will be like
her family, that the ability to love is hereditary. It annoyed me as I read her excuses. I really lost respect for this character.
However,
Christian was sigh-worthy, and I loved him throughout the whole book, even when
his guilt almost got the best of him.
The author
really gives this book two storylines.
One is the investigation into who the spider is. The other is the two brothers that
appear. They reveal a lot about
Christian and allow the author to tell his back story. It was a good read and I liked the main
characters for the most part. I give it
a 4 out of 5.
