With some encouragement from a few other lovers in Anita's life she reluctantly agrees, and J. J. makes plans to fly into town for an experience that none of them will ever forget.

Ok kids, gather around, it's time for another mini review. This one is the story of Jason by Laurell K Hamilton. Ummmmmm wait, this is NOT FOR KIDS. Kids, go to bed. Adults, come gather around. Alrighty, so let me preface this tale by saying that, like many others, I've always been a fan of LKH and like others, I love the PNR stories of the early years and I am too, baffled as to when it went from PNR into straight up Paranormal Erotica with a BDSM twist sometimes or just Polyamorous relations *shakes head*.
Anywho Jason is one of Anita's BFF's and also one of her friends-with-benefits. Jason has come to Anita for some help with his girlfriend, J.J. and her girlfriend, Freda (yeah I know). He wants to make the trio work but he needs a bit rougher sex with her and wants Anita to talk to her about how it is with them, when they have sex (yeah I know). So Anita and one of her sweeties agree to have a foursome, so that J.J. can see how he likes his sex rough sometimes.
While all this is going on, Anita also is reevaluating some of her other relationships and trying to figure out how to "break up" with them, mainly Jade. She's decided that yes, sex with everyone is great but she's can't handle the emotional baggage that comes with actually trying to date and have a relationship with this many people (oh the woes of a Poly lifestyle, yeah I don't know).
So let me just say this....if you are looking at Jason as being a backstory or a "get to know the character better story", nope this isn't it. If you are looking for a short story with Anita having group sex with Jason, Nathaniel, J.J. and her, totally pick up this book. It's basically them plotting to have the group sex and then the sex act itself, all in about 110 pages. The bonus is that you do get a sneek peek at her next book Dead Ice.
