Beautiful dresses, caring servants, a beautiful mansion and a fortune to take care of yourself for a good part of your life sounds like a dream come true for every woman, right? But for Miss Nannett Clairmont, an orphan heiress, the only thing that’s on her mind is run and hide from her disreputable great uncle and tutor, Octavius, until after her 21st birthday in order to stay alive.

Her plan is simple: hide herself and some of her staff for a few months until she is free from her uncle and able to redeem her properties. What she doesn’t count is on the handsome and charming Andrew, a widow father with two sets of troublesome but lovely sets of twins.
