This past Halloween, Sergio Pereira announced his arrival to the horror community with his story Don’t Steal from the Devil.

“From The Exorcist to The Conjuring, I’ve always been a massive fan of possession-themed literature and film,” says Pereira. “That being said, I didn’t want to just rehash everything that I’ve read or seen, either. So, I took everything that I know about demonic possession and threw another curveball into the mix: What would happen if two burglars broke into a home, which was inhabited by a demon? Who is the real bad guy here? And who do you cheer for: the burglars, or the demon?”
