Book Blurb
Until her very own fairy tale falls into her lap...and the hero won’t take no for an answer.
Toot's Review by Stacy Sabala
Gareth has no intentions of a relationship. He is trying to meet his own daughter, whom he hasn’t seen since she was two. In order to do so, his ex wife has laid down some rules he must follow. He is determined to do everything right so his ex wife has no excuse to stand in his way.
However, nothing ever goes as planned. Gareth meets Gwyn’s kids and decides he loves hanging around. He grows closer to Gwyn and wants a relationship with her. Gwyn is torn. She wants to protect her children but is she doing the right thing keeping men out of their lives and hers. She fights a battle with herself as her feelings for Gareth grows.
Gareth hasn’t told Gwyn about his daughter and knows that she will feel betrayed. She has issues about fathers leaving their children. He knows that it could damage the fragile relationship he is trying to build.
Gwyn’s fears are standing in the way and when she learns Gareth’s secret, the feeling of betrayal overshadows all else. She can’t trust him, and she refuses to allow another Jack into her life.
This story was great. I couldn’t put it down. The author pulls you into the lives of these characters. You feel Gareth’s frustration with the situation with meeting his daughter, his surprise with how he feels about Gwyn and her kids, and his excitement with the life changes he is going through. I loved to watch the disbelief Gwyn felt when she first started seeing Gareth. She couldn’t believe a famous star would want to date her. However, I wanted to shake some sense into on more than one occasion when her fears got the best of her. So when the reader becomes a part of the story like that, it is definitely a good one.
I give it a 4 out of 5
