Review : Falling Into You (Falling #1) by Jasinda Wilder (NA/CR)

Book Blurb

I wasn't always in love with Colton Calloway; I was in love with his younger brother, Kyle, first. Kyle was my first one true love, my first in every way.
Then, one stormy August night, he died, and the person I was died with him.

Colton didn't teach me how to live. He didn't heal the pain. He didn't make it okay. He taught me how to hurt, how to not be okay, and, eventually, how to let go.

Toot's Book Review

OMG, I'm out of tissues! What a freakin' tearjerker and I loved every minute of it!

Falling into you is about two very broken souls whom find healing in each other, slowly but surely. It starts with a beautiful love story of two teens whom grow up with each other, are BFF's and then eventually become more. The two are everything to each other, have gone through everything and are now starting their lives together but then fate steps in and kills half of the pair. The girl, Nell, survives and is now the walking dead. She is so grief stricken, full of guilt and utterly shattered. She moves to New York to try a new path in life, all the while on a self-destructive course to join her beloved beyond the grave until she runs into his older brother, Colton, whom was banished from the family for not living up to his perfect parents vision. He is also a haunted shell of a man but is slowly putting his life together and knows a kindred soul when he sees one. Someone who is as totally shattered as him but unlike him, he knows Nell isn't moving past it. Now he has to make the choice to help his dead little brothers' fiancé, knowing he's attracted to her as well or help her move on with her life but watch as she moves on with someone else.

I absolutely adored this story. I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I read it, thinking it was another NA love story. Little did I know that my heart would be ripped out, shown to me and then slowly put back into my chest. I found my new book boyfriend in Colton and my heart bleeds for Nell. I am soooooooo hoping there is going to be a sequel to this book because I am dying to know that these two are going to be ok. I want to go to the wedding and see them have lots and lots of kids.

A total must read!!!

5 out of 5 books!!!
