Review: Watch Me (A Touched Trilogy Book 3) by Angela Fristoe

Book Blurb

When the future is already written, what will Chloe risk to change it?

For Chloe, her gift of prophecy has proven the future to be unshakeable. Nothing ever changes, and no one really has a choice. The future is what it is, and she accepted that a long time ago.

Then her sisters convince her to try changing her future, to give herself the chance for happiness that she never expected. When she succeeds, the black and white certainty she’s always had vanishes. It turns blurry with infinite possibilities she can barely distinguish and everything she ever expected to happen is lost. Only Sebastian's future gives clues about what's coming, and it's filled with images of blood and death.

But Chloe can’t change the future when the choices aren’t hers to make and if she can’t change it, can she accept it or will she continue to fight for the lives most important to her?

Toot's Review by Stacy Sabala

Chloe is the sister that sees the future.  She is also my least favorite.  She lords her power over her sister thinking she is better than the others.  SO I was interested to see how her story would evolve and play out.  I liked seeing her question herself and others telling her she can’t control what happens.  Choices made by the individuals change their futures.  I truly did not like her in the beginning of the book.  She was a bit stuck up and a snob.  She was very judgmental toward people.  It was completely obvious when Sebastian was introduced.  She gradually shifted her viewpoints as the story progressed.  She slowly started realizing she could change her future.

I liked how nerdy Bastian was really made a difference in how Chloe saw what she was doing and made her focus on what her gift was truly trying to tell her.  By the end she showed her strength and that she was able to regain her faith.  She finally was able to understand what she needed to do to save those she loved and have the future she dreamed of.  It was a great read by the end and I give it a 4 out of 5.
