Book Blurb
As she hunts for a drug lord killing her fellow witches, all Nessa Lansa’s instincts point to the Grizzly motorcycle club. That might be because their leader, Bear, is the strong, silent shifter type: warm brown eyes and more muscle and alpha male than any woman can ignore. Which makes Nessa’s plan to seduce and betray him all the more dangerous . . .
Bear doesn’t trust the curvy, blue-eyed witch. But Nessa can heal the injuries that sap his strength. And since he can’t stop thinking of her lush body and teasing smile, her plan to mate him to reclaim her own power is highly tempting. Just one problem. Once a desire this wild is loose, no one will ever control it . .

Toot's Review by Stacy Sabala
Bear is
dying. He is damaged on the molecular
level. He can only turn into one
animal. When he turned into a dragon on
several occasions to save his sister, he damaged his body.
Nessa
appears to make a proposition to Bear.
She wants his fire ability to make her stronger. She will heal him and become his mate in
return. However, he learns that there
are bounty hunters after her and someone else has hired a kill squad. He refuses to let anything happen to her on
his watch.
Nessa has
her own secrets, one being she is investigating Bear and the Club. She is serious about the mating idea and she
needs to get a hold of Bear’s records.
Unfortunately, someone wants her dead and Bear has to work hard to keep
her safe. Neither has any idea who is
behind the attacks. Nessa keeps her
secrets close but everything comes out when Bear makes a declaration in order
to keep her safe. Then when they learn
who is really behind the death squads and the Apollo attacks, Bear is
shocked. He never saw it coming.
I love this
series. The characters are great. The men are intense and the women are strong
and sassy. Both Bear and Nessa fit the
description. Bear has his own thoughts
and feelings about his life. He doesn’t
like strange people or a lot of people in his space. It makes him cranky. I loved his character and how he handled
things. He was also very bossy
especially to Nessa. She, on the other
hand, refused to be bossed around. It
made for lots of sports and humorous situations. The author made a great pairing in this story
and gave them an exciting adventure as they both tried to figure out what was
going on. I hope to see more of them
both. I give this book a 4 out of 5.
