The first two left blood on his hands.
The third left him wondering...what if? What if he had told the woman of his dreams how he felt before his world fell apart?

Toot's Review by Stacy Sabala

Chelsea is undercover trying to get to Morrison’s computer.  She isn’t a field agent but she is the best woman for the job.  She is working with the Black Knights Inc. to complete the op.  She is undercover working for Morrison who they all suspect of being the Spider.  Dagan Zoelner, or Z, hates to see her put herself in danger.  He cares a lot for her and it drives him crazy.  He becomes a jerk pointing out to Chelsea how she shouldn’t do this.
Chelsea has feelings for Z but he has never revealed he ever remotely felt the same.  So after the scare in Morrison’s office Chelsea is shocked when Dagan kisses her.  Things get dangerous when the Spider strikes back making Chelsea public enemy number one.  The team has to get creative keeping Chelsea out of the public eye and back to the US.  Dagan becomes her personal bodyguard as they grow closer.
Chelsea has to dig deep for strength as she runs for her life.  She also has a big secret that hangs over her blossoming relationship with Dagan.  She knows things are going to change when the truth is out and she is back home.
I really like this series.  The characters are awesome.  The guys that make up the super, secret special ops team are a required part that makes an awesome whole.  There is lots of action going on as the characters go on assignments that require their special abilities.
Dagan used to work for the CIA and then was fired when they lost agents on an op.  There is a lot of guilt hiding under his skin.  The op and his younger brother’s situation really gets to Dagan.  He believes he doesn’t deserve Chelsea’s affection.  It is interesting to see him take the leap of faith.

Chelsea also harbors guilt then stir in some shame from this big secret she is keeping.  I love her strength and her resolve to come clean with Dagan.  This story is an excellent addition to the series.  The reader gets to see more of Emily and Christian argue with sparks.  The author introduces the mysterious Angel and I know we will be seeing more of him later.  It was a great story.  I give it a 4 out of 5.
