Toot's Review by Stacy Sabala
Maggie
Masters is in California with Caleb. It
was safer to get away. Unfortunately
Kyle and Bish show up to help with safety.
Those two being there makes things even more complicated.
Maggie
realizes that her visions are coming more frequently. She wakes up one morning with the Visionary
mark. Caleb and his family are in awe of
her. Yet she refuses to be treated any
different. Sikes is still trying to find
her. He wants her blood. His clan is still bitter about the
significant status she and Caleb have.
She also has to deal with Kyle’s feelings for her. Things are so complicated. Add in her family, her best friend, emerging
new powers and Maggie is feeling overwhelmed.
This series
keeps getting better. I love Caleb and
Maggie together. They are adorable. I did want to smack her brother Bish around
for being a jerk. Kyle was right there
alongside of Bish. They were definitely
adding more pressure and complications to the situations.
The author
is throwing what she can at the main characters. As I read this I felt sorry for them. They didn’t really get much time to process
anything for long. Something else always
popped up. It did keep the story moving
quickly. You didn’t know what would
happen next. It was crazy.
I love the
characters though and the storyline is pretty unique which I also like. I was pretty hooked and the end of the book
was a bit shocking. I can’t wait to see
what happens next. I give it a 4 out of
5.
