Book Blurb
Just before her eighteenth birthday, the doctors tell Emily she has three months to live. Not much time to complete the bucket list she's had since she was twelve. The first item is the hardest--"Get married"--so she turns to the only man she knows who can help.
Paul, a barely reformed bad boy, has inherited a fortune from his mother, but his life is defined by his conflicted relationship with his father--a white-collar, organized-crime boss who, thanks to Paul, is being brought up on federal charges. Without Emily's testimony, his father might walk, so Paul agrees to her unconventional proposal. He'll be her husband for her last three months.
They agree that she'll testify against his father and he'll help her complete her bucket list. It's not supposed to be a true marriage. No consummation. No future. No love.
No love.
She's supposed to die, after all, and love might not be enough.

Emily
Brennan has been diagnosed with the same virus as her aunt. The doctors said it was terminal. She had to decide what to do with the final
three months of her life. She decides to
cross off as many things from her bucket list as she can.
The first
one is to get married. She makes a deal
with Paul Marino so he will marry her.
She is only seventeen but she has known Paul forever. He is determined to take care of her since
she is testifying against his father.
This first
volume of Listed contains the first three characters of the story. It is a quick read that pulls you in pretty
quickly and leaves you wanting more. The
proposition that Emily approaches Paul with is interesting. The situation is sad and troubled. Emily is so young to be thinking about a
bucket list and death. It definitely
wets your appetite for the rest of the volumes.
I give it a 4 out of 5.

Paul
continues to help Emily work down her bucket list. He is also buckling down for his new
job. He plans a big trip but comes face
to face with the reality of Emily’s sickness.
He takes care of her himself and Emily is shocked. She doesn’t expect him to do so. She knows he would never have married her if
she wasn’t dying so she doesn’t expect him to act like a real husband.
Paul’s
feelings seem to be growing for Emily.
She amazes him with her courage and her smiles.
This story
keeps going and I love it. Emily is a
great character. She is strong and
positive. I like how Paul is changing
before my eyes as I read it. They are
starting to become a team. I love the
evolution the author is showing as the story progresses. I can’t wait to see how their relationship
grows and what happens when the trial gets underway. I give this volume a 4 out of 5.

The trial
has started. Paul has to face it alone
first because Emily is fighting her virus.
However she eventually has to face Paul’s father. Then listen as they rip Paul apart on the
stand. Paul is touched at her support
and his feelings for her continue to grow.
He is hoping to find a cure. He
is also happy when Emily wants to be his wife in every way. Paul comes to a startling realization and a
heartbreaking conclusion.
This story
is sweet. I love reading as their
relationship grows and changes. It is so
rewarding to watch them grow to love each other. You feel for both characters. Emily’s time is short unless some miracle
happens. Then Paul is coming to the
conclusion about his feelings and how it will end. Sad, Sad, Sad!! I hope for the best as the
story continues. It is a fantastic
journey and I’m eating it up. I can’t
wait to read the next part. I give this
volume a 4 out of 5.
