Book Blurb
In Sidney Halston’s latest sizzling MMA romance, a former title contender turns the tables on his knockout trainer with a lesson in seduction.
Once one of the most sought-after names on the mixed martial arts circuit, Antonio “Scarface” Marino watched his career go down for the count as he chased skirts and made tabloid headlines. Now he’s finally making a comeback, and it’s all thanks to Francesca Silva, a Brazilian bombshell as tough as any of her fighters. But who’s the real Francesca: the trash-talking trainer who rides him hard, or the vulnerable woman who blushes at his touch?
Francesca went to the mat to sign Tony because she believes he still has the potential to bring big success to her gym—if she can keep his head in the cage and out of her personal life. After a short-lived marriage soured her on love, a one-night stand is all she can handle. Now Tony’s kisses are stirring up complicated feelings—especially when he agrees to face her ex in the ring. Francesca’s used to freezing guys out. But Tony’s tempting her to give in to the heat.

Toot's Review by Stacy Sabala
Tony Marino has been training in Tarpon Springs, Florida at WTF Academy for the last five months. He has been black-balled by all other trainers. He likes to drink and have sex and as a result has gotten a bit of a bad reputation.
He also has it bad for Francesca Silva, his trainer’s business partner and the one who gave him a chance. However she has turned him down flat every time he has asked her out. She yells at him when he misses practice and tells him what she thinks on a regular basis. She is trying to get him back to the fighting form she knows he can be. She refuses to back down even after he loses a big fight.
Tony can’t believe her. She won’t cut him any slack and remains cold and distant. He doesn’t know what he sees in her until he sees a slight sliver of the real woman that she hides from everyone else. He comes to realize that Francesca has two sides to herself, the tough business woman Frances and the fun loving Frankie. When he realizes the truth about her, he is completely hooked. He now has to convince her how he feels and that it is ok if she feels the same way.
He is ready to show his determination and train hard for his next match. Of course things get complicated when Francesca’s past collides with her here and now. She isn’t sure she is strong enough to go after what she truly wants.
I like this series. I enjoy catching up with these tough, sexy men and the women who bring them to their knees. Tony and Francesca were entertaining to watch. Tony is Cuban and Francesca is Brazilian. You know that sparks are going to fly in every direction. Of course once Francesca got over some of her issues, the couple set fire to the storyline with hot love scenes and passionate arguments. The chemistry between the two characters was explosive.
I love the fact he fell first and had to chase her. These types of storylines are my favorite paired with a strong female lead character. Those elements are a good combination for a great story in my opinion. I love the series and can’t wait to check in with the guys again soon. I am waiting patiently for the next book. Who am I kidding? No I’m not. I give this book a 4 out of 5.
