Toot's Review by Stephanie Silva
Ryder Harris left Glenville 15 years ago in search of something more. A boring city would never suit him and his feelings for Annie, her sister’s friend, may be nothing more than a teen’s crush. He has been having the time of his life as a police officer in NY and now as an FBI agent but when he is ordered to return to his hometown to investigate a case using her sister’s funeral as a cover story he is anything but thrilled.
Annie is the joy of town. She is sweet, kind, and is in love with the town. The pain Ryder gave her when he left all those years ago is gone and she has managed to move on with her life but the second she hears “Sweet Annie” coming from those lips, she knows the next time her broken heart won’t heal again.
Would Ryder stay in the town that he rejected all those years ago for Annie? Would she give up on her life in Glenville, her home, business and family for the guy that once broke her heart? In this novel Angela Ford tells us a story about forgiveness and second chances in which their fate depends on a Christmas miracle.
