Loving in fast forward...
Love on the fast track has been the definition of Harper and Deacon McCoy's relationship. In between studio sessions with Deacon's band, Oblivion, and building a new clientele for Harper's catering business, the newlyweds haven't had time to sleep let alone have a honeymoon.
Deacon convinces Harper that they need a week alone together before her business as well as a new album and tour swallows them whole. Since Texas has always held special meaning for them, they head to Galveston to recharge and remember what it's like to just be a couple.
A beachfront cottage, hours of alone time, and plenty of skin on skin action is just what the rock star ordered. Until the future once again comes much quicker than they expected, threatening to crumble not only their perfect honeymoon but also their brand new marriage.

Toot's Review by Stacy Sabala
In this Oblivion Novella, Deacon and Harper are now married but everything has been crazy. The band has been in the studio recording for their new album. Harper has been busy getting her business started. So they haven’t had much time together. Deacon is determined to get her away for a week long honeymoon in Galveston, TX. In fact he refuses to take no for an answer.
Once they get there Harper can’t keep her hands off of Deacon, not that he is complaining. She just seems a bit desperate for him. He is determined to make more time where they can be together when they get back. Things go crazy when Harper gets unexpected news. She completely flips out and Deacon is wondering what is going to happen now.
This short story checks in with Harper and Deacon after they got married. After meeting the two in the first book of the series, it was fun to see them again. The love scenes were hot and frequent since they were on their honeymoon. However once Harper gets her shocking news, I wanted to shake her. She made things worse with her behavior. In fact I disliked her behavior considering she is supposed to be a strong female character. Other than that it was a good addition to the series. I can’t to read more about the band in the next book. I give it a 3 out of 5.
