Mira and Josh know they are mates, they can feel a connection developing
inside of them and the attraction is obvious even to a blind person but the
problem is that Josh is human and Mira is a precious shifter, one whose fate is
marked by a prophecy. The shifter Council won’t let someone so special be with
anything but a royal shifter and that leaves her no option but to choose
between Kade and two other unexpected suitors. That is right ladies, prepare
for the coming back of an old flame that would be nothing but furious to see
her in the arms of a human but that is not everything. Mira would have to deal
with someone related with a past she would do anything to forget.
Who wouldn’t love to be chased by three sexy alpha males? Well, Mira.
She already found the only man she will submit to but if it means saving him
she will mate without love. What is the problem then? A stubborn human that
would fight the entire pride and a hell of a troublesome human nuisance and even
her to make her realize that rules can and will be bend by them.
The book was fast paced and with a couple of twists. I expected some and
I was a little surprised about others but I have to say the book was worth
staying up all night. Yeah, it is a page turner so once you start reading about
this star crossed lovers you won’t be able to put it down so…read in the middle
of the day if you don’t want to lose your beauty sleep. J
I have to say there were times when I wanted to get inside the book and
slap or throttle someone for their foolishness but that I developed real
feelings toward them means Nancy did a great job bringing the characters to
life. A little more substance would have done wonders to the plot but I am
happy to say this is a great novel full of DRAMA, ( lol, yeah, a lot) steamy
romance, a hint of action, a stubborn and strong female, an alpha male’s
development and a hell of a nosy family.
Quite a good mix isn’t it? J
