Book Blurb
Blackmail.
Sex. Ferro.
There are
some mistakes that are too big to fix. I'll never recover from this one. Damn
it, I called Bryan an addict and treated him worse. Maybe it was wrong for him
to approach me the way he did. Maybe it wasn't right for Bryan to just take
what he wanted, consequences be damned. I can't blame him, though--not now that
I know the truth.
Genre: New Adult Romance
This
story unfolds over 5 volumes approx. 125 pages each.

Toot's Review
Holy Hotness Batman! How can a story be so scorching hot that my kindle is literally melting in my hands and break your heart so thoroughly that I want to throw that same kindle through a wall and wail at the heavens all at the same time?
Well H.M. Ward sure did it!
In the 4th out of 5 installments in her proposition serial we finally find the answers to our questions and also our two main characters have some of the hottest sex I've read in awhile and for me that is saying a lot seeing I'm more of a romance reviewer.
For those not following the book, I'll give you a quick rundown of what the series is about, then tell you about this new juicy nugget, sound good, k?
Let's see, where to begin???
Hallie, our heroine, is virtually alone in the world. She does have a close friend and a loveless friend/boyfriend relationship but that's it. Her adoptive father has just died and she's penniless. Her boyfriend, Neil, is trying to help but there's only so much he can do. In a bid to bring color or therapy into her life she decides to write about happier times, mainly when she was young and dumb and in love. Just as an escape. When she falls on desperate times, she decides to make a quick buck and self publishes the memoires as a work of fiction, only to have all hell break loose. Her book takes off and becomes the next Fifty Shades, the boyfriend in the book, Bryan, tracks her down and blackmails her into a tryst, her current boyfriend has done a 180 (money does that) and her BFF has gotten her into even deeper water. The only sort of bright spot in all this has been the rekindling of her relationship with her childhood sweetheart, Bryan, only to find out recently that he's very sick (medically speaking). So that is the story in a nutshell, so far but now comes the latest installment and that’s what I’m going to review for you now.
So Proposition 4 picks up with Bryan and Hallie in a hotel. Bryan is passed out from a splitting headache that took a ton of pills and alcohol to squelch. Hallie knows he's ill but he won't tell her what's going on. When Bryan finally wakes, Hallie decides that if her time with Bryan is ticking away, why not give him all the love she can but she has to be smart about it and not let on that she knows he’s sick. Annnnnddddd what follows is some of the most scorching hot, panty dropping, holy crap is that even possible, sex scenes I have read in awhile! Seriously, my hubby has never had it so good *wink, wink*. Damn skippy he benefited from me reading this tidbit, LOL. Anywho, *fans self from remembering* on the tails of that high comes the low, yep you guessed it, Bryan does finally tells Hallie what's wrong with him. Crap on a cracker H.M. Ward is gonna kill me! I’m dying for the last installment but my heart is breaking because I do not see how either character is going to survive and I’m a total optimist to the core and want my HEA for these two but honestly, it’s like a freakin’ Greek Tragedy and I just don’t see one. *sigh* but what a ride!!
Great review, can't wait for tomorrow & buying it! X
