What are five things fans don't know about you?

1. Unless you follow me on Twitter (@jenryan_author) and have seen my many tweets and conversations with fellow authors, you might not know I have a chocolate obsession. I might have taken the "Little girls are made of sugar and spice" thing too far.

2. I met my husband in high school. He was a senior and I was a sophomore. He asked me to his prom. We've been married for over twenty-two years.

3. When I wrote my first book, Saved by the Rancher - Book 1: The Hunted Series, I was pregnant with my daughter and named the heroine Jenna after my little girl.

4. Jennifer Ryan is my pen name. Ryan is my middle son's name.

5. In my other life, I'm a Cable Systems Designer. Yep, that's right, I hang out with a bunch of cable guys.


What are five things fans don't know about
The Return of Brody McBride?

1. My husband is an ex-Army Ranger and the inspiration for Brody.

2. Brody wrote more than a dozen letters apologizing to Rain and begging her to forgive him and take him back while he was in the military but never sent them. He needed to earn her forgiveness and do it in person.

3. Brody carried a picture of Rain at the lake with him everywhere he went. It burned in his pocket in the roadside bombing that nearly killed him.

4. Rain named Roxy's unnamed baby Autumn when she bought her from the conniving woman.

5. Before Brody came home, Rain used to drive out to Brody's cabin when she missed him the most and sat on the dock at the lake and talked to him like he was there with her.

    We love bad boy heros in part because they can be reformed but even then there's a little bit of a wild side left in the reformed man. :-)
