As a Christmas treat, we're reposting the review of our favorite holiday novella of the season.
Book Blurb
There's no such thing as second chances, and Brooke would know. This Christmas will be spent alone and celebrated, same as the last. It doesn't matter that she's a disgruntled mall elf, standing next to a chimney-scented Santa with the most annoying co-worker ever. It doesn't make Christmas more magical. It's just another day to endure, and the holiday can't pass fast enough. That is, until her old flame, Chris, spots her.
After taking a picture with Brooke in her elf costume, things take an unexpected turn. Maybe getting through the night won't be so difficult after all.
This short holiday novella is 96 pages in the print edition.

Toot's Review
Brooke absolutely loathes the holidays for her own personal reasons but she needs money and finds herself working at the mall as an Elf. While dealing with all the drama that comes with taking photos with Santa, Brooke hears a voice she hasn't heard in years and it's coming from a gorgeous man who's asking to take a picture, not with Santa but with her. When she finds her feet moving towards him, she can't believe it! It's her BFF from her younger years, Chris. Man did she love him and not in the platonic sense although that's right where it stayed, platonic. She and he were firmly in the friend zone right up until she left his life for what she thought was for good.
OMG there she is!! Chris spotted Brooke from across the mall and knew he had to see her again. For some reason, five years ago, she up and left and took his heart with him. Now Chris has a second shot at his former BFF and he is not going to let it pass him by but he'll need to do some quick thinking to get her to agree.
This cute little novella takes place on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day. It's a super cute read about second chances, crazy families, broken hearts and leaps of faith. It's a perfect warm up for a frosty heart during the holidays and you won't be disappointed!!
