“Fuckin’ love you, sugar. You know that, yeah?”
I nod. “Cade, I know that. I’ve known that for a while now. The thing is-”
“I want you to know how much.”
Stubborn man is cutting me off at the one moment I want to tell him I love him.

My entire world stops. I feel like I’ve been punched in the chest, but in the best possible way. He wants to marry me? Cade Duke – big, bad biker – wants to marry me? I feel my eyes burn with unshed tears, as a feeling of pure joy rushes through my body.

Hell's Knights is a great quick read in the ever growing popular Biker genre. This is actually my second read in this genre and to be honest, it's taken me a bit to warm up to it. My first read (by a different author) threw me a bit off kilter but I think I'm starting to like it after reading Hell's Knights. I'm usually a CR/PNR girl and the Biker world is new to me. It's nitty gritty world is something that takes a bit getting used to but it's a refreshing spin on the alpha male. It's very modern day caveman-esque. You definitely can't have your feminine power suit on for this genre but if you like your alpha males raw (which I do) and your HEA, I think you'll really like this series.
So here's a bit of a synopsis. Addison has lived a horrible life. Her mother is a whore who overdosed right in front of her. Her mother's pimp has raped her most of her life and she has had no one but herself to depend on. With her mother being dead, she needs a helping hand to jump start her new life and she needs protection from her mother's pimp, who's hell bent on revenge. So she calls the last man she ever thought she ever would, her father.
Jackson, is the President of his motorcycle club (MC for short). He's lived a hard life and makes no apologies but he has one regret. He lost his woman and little girl when he found out his woman was a prostitute playing normal. He searched and searched until he finally gave up but one phone call from a 21 year old girl claiming to be his kid changed all that. He knows she needs help and he is going to be there, finally! His family of rag-tag bikers is now hers and they will stop at nothing to protect her although he didn't think he needed to protect her from his Vice President, Cade.
Cade is a one woman at a time ladies man. He's dark and handsome and lethal as hell. He also has a very dark past that he thought no woman would understand until he meets his boss's long lost daughter and sees a kindred soul. Someone who's seen pain, maybe as much as his? From the moment he saw her, he was lost. Now to fix him, fix her and fix her old man!
As you can tell, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and I look forward to getting to know the rest of this gang of bikers. It was just gritty enough to peek my interest, sexy enough to rev my engine and dark enough to break my heart. Yep you heard me, there are some really heart warming parts but some parts are really difficult to read. There's pre-teen rape, drugs, bad decisions, death, torture and the list goes on and on. Life is ugly for some people and the author does a fabulous job at giving you a taste without making you gorge on it. But oh, the HEA is a great reward. In such a short story, the characters are written well and the story just sucks you in. If you're interested in dipping your toes into this biker world, give the MC Sinners series a try!
