Toot's first ever commentary
Hey all,
Well this is going to be a first for me. Rather then a review, I've decided to do a bit of a commentary on this book. The reason being is that this book, unlike any other I've come a crossed, seems to be very controversial. To start with, it deals with some very ugly but unfortunately, all to normal, relationship subject matter which includes, domestic violence and rape, infidelity, open relationships, unprotected sex and much more. So why am I telling you this??? Well some people who have read the story are offended by these subjects and it effects their reviews and they can't get past it, while others feel the book is based in reality and shines a light on how some people behave and give kudos to the author for keeping it real *fist bump*.
I have read the book and have my own views but I've decided to not share them, again a total first for me, but rather have decided to let you make a well informed decision. If you decide to read this book, I suggest you read some of the reviews out there and decide if this is the type of book you'd like to read. It is not your typical HEA. Don't go into it thinking you'll be feeling warm and fuzzy afterwards, it's not the Prince Charming/Disney Princess type, moreover, it's a character study based around a type of relationship.
With all that being said, choose your books wisely, read responsibly and read whatever you want because no one should censor your books or your choices!
