That is what 35 year old, happily married mother of two, Alexis Summers finds out, when decides it is time to return to work. After being a stay-at-home Mum for the past nine years, Alexis now realizes a complete career change is just what she needs.

She becomes a Concierge Attendant in a prestigious hotel in Melbourne working for the owner of the hotel, Bryce Clark. He resides in the penthouse, is extremely hot, and is a man who always gets what he wants, and what he wants is Alexis. She does a relatively good job resisting Bryce at first, but the undeniable chemistry, sexual tension and playfulness between the two of them is intense. He has copious amounts of money, sex appeal and above all, is a genuinely nice guy. Bryce has been waiting for his one true love to come along, and he is positive that one true love, is Alexis.

There is one problem, she is happily married to Rick, and no matter how strong her feelings are for Bryce, she is adamant she will not cheat. She draws a line in the sand, but finds it increasingly hard not to cross. Will she succumb to Temptation?

Temptation is my first ever attempt at writing, and although it is not perfectly written, I am proud of the story and look forward to writing the sequels. Already I feel my writing is improving and I hope that comes across which each book I write.

Toot's Review

Definitely a good start to a sexy series. Very much in the vain of the classic movie "Indecent Proposal" with a bit of a "billionaire playboy wants a co-worker". We have the semi-happily married woman, Alexis, living a normal life, married to her high school sweetheart, has 2 kids and all the fixings. She decides to take a job at a hotel, where she meets Bryce, the head honcho of the hotel. On her first day, she ends up spilling her coffee on him at the local coffee shop. From there, they have an easy boss/co-worker relationship and friendship but eventually Bryce makes his feelings known to Alexis. Unfortunately for him though, she is bound and determined to keep him at bay. Will the phrase, what a billionaire wants, a billionaire will eventually get, come into play? You'll have to read it to find out!

I found the story fun and flirty with all the classic themes we love from the recent crop of contemporary romance. I'm totally looking forward to the follow up books to see where the characters end up and whom Alexis will choose. Totally recommend for those CR readers who would like a twist on the recent classics in the genre.
