Here's some blurbs on Lisa's Vamp books as well as a link to Toot's review of her novella - Night Thief.

Night Walker

He gave up his soul for a second chance to love her…
Two and a half centuries ago, Calisto Terana lost everything when a zealous priest murdered the woman he loved. Now, desperate for another chance to love her, he wants redemption for the mistake that cost her life.
She’s haunted by dreams of her own death…
After catching her fiance with another woman, Kate Bradley returns to San Diego to clear her head. The last thing she needs is romance, but after meeting Calisto she’s drawn to him in ways she doesn’t understand.
They’ve waited in the shadows for centuries…
Calisto has no doubt Kate is the reincarnation of his lost love, but the Fraternidad Del Fuego Santo has a new watcher with dark ambitions of his own. As old enemies re-emerge and a new threat arises, the betrayal that enslaved Calisto to the night might destroy the only woman he’s ever loved again.

Night Thief

After the fall of the Mayan civilization, Kane, an immortal Night Walker, has taken refuge in France for over 800 years. The modern world holds little interest for him until the night he meets the Golden Thief and is robbed of much more than his pocket watch.
Marguerite Rousseau is living a double life. By day she is the assistant to an eccentric French artist, Antoine Berjon, and by night she dons elegant evening gowns to woo French dignitaries before lifting their wallets.
Sparks ignite when Kane captures the thief, but Marguerite harbors a dark secret that could ruin them both.

Night Demon

Interview

Hi Lisa,

Thank you so much for being here for the Vampires For Valentines Blog Hop. When Toot's signed up for the tour, the first person I thought about interviewing was you. Not only because I'm on your street team *wink and a plug* and your local stalker (we live in the same town) but also because I love your Vampire/Shapeshifters and can't wait for the next book, Night Demon!

So with that all being said, let's get to the meaty bits and plunge right in *puns totally intended*.

Can you tell the visitors a little (or a lot *grin*) about your Vampire world?

My Night Walkers would all tell you that they’re not vampires, although they do drink blood to live, and only live after the sun sets. Vampires do exist in the Night Walker world, but they’re a different species than my Night Walker immortals.

For Vampire genre fans, what makes your Vampires different from all the other Vampire stories out there?

Instead of being “undead”, my Night Walkers actually live at night. Their hearts beat, they breathe, and they can also shape shift into their spirit animal.

They’re not descended from Vlad over in Romania either. My Night Walkers are from the Mayans. The four original Night Walkers have been in our world since time began.

With all the market saturation with Vampire stories, what made you choose to tackle the Vampire/Paranormal genre?

I love reading and writing vampires. I enjoy their long life spans and the danger that goes hand in hand with the sexiness. I thought I could bring something new to the table by making an immortal race from the Americas instead of Europe. I also wove in some Native American mysticism as well.

What do you find fascinating about Vampires?

I’m a sucker (so to speak!) for a tortured hero, and I can’t imagine a more tortured existence than a person who lives forever with their regrets, mistakes and failures. I also enjoy weaving true history into the backstory of my immortals.

I have to admit, I also love the excitement of the fantasy behind a vampire lover. He could kill you, but instead, he chooses to love you… Shew!

Besides your Vampires, who's your favorite Vampire character and or books?

I was a HUGE Anne Rice fan. Lestat and Marius were my all-time favorite vampires in her Chronicles. And I’m so excited paranormal romance grew into a huge genre because my only regret with the Vampire Chronicles was that they couldn’t have sex! LOL

In your words, can you tell the visitors about the first book, Night Walker and novella, Night Thief *also being given away for this hop*, in your series?

The tagline for Night Walker is really the heart of the book “He gave up his soul for a second chance to love her…”

And Night Thief is the story of a woman leading a double life. When she steals a pocket watch from the wrong man, who isn’t a man at all…

How about the next book, Night Demon?

In Night Demon we find ourselves in the heart of the Yucatan jungle and an Ancient Mayan demon has awakened… It’s up to Lukas and Gretchen to help stop the Night Demon before she destroys entire the mortal world.

Any juicy tidbits you can share with us about the upcoming book?

Anyone who has read Night Walker and wondered who/what the eagle was circling overhead, you’ll get all your answers in Night Demon. And those who wondered if Lukas is still alive, yes he is, and he’s falling for his colleague and research assistant, Gretchen.

Can you share an excerpt or snippet? Maybe even a few sentences *wicked grin*?

In the heart of the rain forest, the ground rumbled and finally ripped apart. Searing heat shot up through the jungle floor followed by a deafening inhuman cry.

A scream. Fury. Pure raw anger.

The nocturnal creatures of the rain forest fell silent, sensing the invisible menace that lurked all around them. Drenched in moonlight, a form slowly rose from the center of the heat and steam of the earth like a flame reaching up to the heavens. At first resembling more mist than flesh, the flame finally took the shape of a monstrous black Jaguar with crimson eyes that burned with demon fire.

With the silence of a jungle cat, she disappeared into the world of man.

And lastly, for your fans......we'll steal the magazine idea again *It's becoming a tradition at Toot's* and ask.......
What are 10 things your fans don't know about you?

10? Hmmm…. If you’re my buddy on twitter and facebook, you probably already know these things. I’m a pretty open book.

1) I love Disney… Huge Fan!

2) Evil Queen = My favorite villain

3) Hot Chocolate and Iced Tea are my favorite drinks

4) I chomp gum like a cow when I’m writing new books… It’s scary!

5) I’m scared of heights and got stuck at the top of the El Castillo pyramid in Chichen Itza

6) I name all of my cars.

7) I’m a huge sap and often cry at tv commercials. (That Clydesdale beer commercial during the Superbowl… Yep!)

8) I’m maturity-challenged.

9) I’m also choreographically-challenged.

10) I love all my readers. Story-telling would be empty without all of you!!!

Anything you'd like to add or say to your fans?

Thanks for all your support on this crazy publishing journey!!! I hope you lose yourself in my stories and every hero steals your heart…

  7. Now this is a Blog Hop I can really sink my teeth into! I LOVE Vampire’s and when you mix them in with Romance Novels the result is intoxicating! Who doesn’t love Vampires! They are usually handsome, sometimes dark and brooding, have sexy names like Sebastian - Damien - Alexander, and they have been alone so long and searching for their Bride, so they can have that one perfect woman to love! Some of my absolute favorite Vampires are :

Lothaire Daciano from the book Lothaire. Lothaire is sexy, wicked, confidant, and has been waiting for his Bride for Eons.

Ian MacPhie from the book All I Want For Christmas Is A Vampire. Ian is a Highland warrior and a Vampire. Sexy with an accent and a kilt.

Sebastien Newcombe from the book Phantom Shadows. Bastien is a misunderstood and sexy badass. He just loves to push everyone’s buttons.

Javier from the book Covet. Javier desires her above all others.

See what I mean….I LOVE VAMPIRES!
