The Reckoning
Same problem here as with The Awakening. In a trilogy, after the first book, it gets really hard to describe the next book without giving away serious spoilers. If you’ve read The Summoning and The Awakening, read the below description of The Reckoning. If you haven’t read the first two, don’t do it!
My name is Chloe Saunders. I’m fifteen, and I would love to be normal.
But normal is one thing I’m not.
For one thing, I’m having these feelings for a certain antisocial werewolf and his sweet-tempered brother–who just happens to be a sorcerer–but, between you and me, I’m leaning toward the werewolf.
Not normal.
My friends and I are also on the run from an evil corporation that wants to get rid of us…permanently.
Definitely not normal.
And finally, I’m a genetically altered necromancer who can raise the dead, rotting corpses and all, without even trying.
As far away from normal as it gets.

The Reckoning (Darkest Powers)I won't go into huge detail about this book but as you can probably tell, it's the last in the Darkest Powers trilogy that I've reviewed previously. This book does an excellent job of just tying up loose strings. Again if you haven't read the previous books, I wouldn't recommend picking this one up. This being the last in the trilogy, the books are basically one long YA story, so as a stand alone book it won't make sense. I definately think this YA book could easily be for younger kids as well. The most you get are a few kisses. As a whole, this was a good conclusion to the story. Just as an FYI to readers though, there were no real major surprises for me, even with the "whodunnit" backstory but it was a fun, quick read and if you're a fan of her Otherworld series, I'd definately recommend it. If you're just looking for a nice, paranormal YA story, I'd say pick it up.
