SOMETIMES WHAT YOU COVET IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP.
For werewolf Natalya Stravinsky, the supernatural is nothing extraordinary. What does seem strange is that she's stuck in her hometown of South Toms River, New Jersey, the outcast of her pack, selling antiques to finicky magical creatures. Restless and recovering from her split with gorgeous ex-boyfriend, Thorn, Nat finds comfort in an unusual place: her obsessively collected stash of holiday trinkets. But complications pile up faster than her ornaments when Thorn returns home--and the two discover that the spark between them remains intense.

Before Nat can sort out their relationship, she must face a more immediate and dangerous problem. Her pack is under attack from the savage Long Island werewolves--and Nat is their first target in a turf war. Toss in a handsome wizard vying for her affection, a therapy group for the anxious and enchanted, and the South Toms River pack leader ready to throw her to the wolves, and it's enough to give anybody a panic attack. With the stakes as high as the full moon, Nat must summon all of her strength to save her pack and, ultimately, herself.

Ok so this book holds a special place in my heart and I'll tell you why......I went to Comic Con 2012 and was so excited when I heard Karen Marie Moning was supposed to be there (she's another author). I was totally fan girl over it and even saw her post on Facebook that she'd be there around 1pm for a signing. Now one thing I haven't posted on here is that I am a huge collector of personally autographed books by my favorite authors and she is definately on my list. Anywho, so I'm at Comic Con expecting to see something about her signing but see nothing. I then go to the publisher's booth to ask them about the signing when they tell me it's been canceled. I was totally heartbroken but I understand, crap happens. In the same moment, I look over and there's a beautiful lady sitting behind the publisher's booth worker, to his left. She smiles at me as says "Would you like an autographed book?". Now to be honest, I had no idea who she was or what her book was about but she was so nice, I said yes.
Fast forward to the next day at Comic Con. My wonderful niece, who is also a fan of authors, wants me to go sit in on a panel for one of her favorite authors Andrea Kremer. So we go and wouldn't you know it, the beautiful author from the day before is there on the panel. I smile and pat myself on the back because I got her book. So then we go from the panel to an autograph session with those same authors. While in line we meet another wonderful author named Lisa Kessler, who I eventually join her street team and her books are also dear to my heart but back to Coveted. So while making our way through the line and getting numerous autographs, I come face to face again with the author of Coveted. I smile at her, shake her hand and promise I will read her book. She just chuckles and says she hopes I like it.
So again fast forward a few weeks, my neice and I decide to go to RWA 2012 hosted by Avon Books. We are really going for the autograph charity event, to add to our personal collections more then anything else. We also go because I'm going to meet up with the wonderful writers I met at Comic Con and just say hi. So we make our way to Lisa Kessler's booth and wouldn't you know it, the author sitting next to her is Shawntelle Madison (the beautiful author) of Coveted. I felt so bad because I still hadn't read the book and here I've met her 3 times face to face. Uggggg I'm so dense sometimes, LOL. Anywho, I did finally get to it and wouldn't you know.....LOVED IT!!!
So here's my review......I actually posted this on Goodreads I think or maybe amazon.

Absolutely loved it!!! It's been on my "to read" pile since I met her at ...
Comic Con and then at RWA. It was funny, light hearted, deep at times and called to my inner hoarder. I mean...what's not to like, a werewolf with OCD! Soon as I finished it, I ordered the next book on my Kindle but it's not out till Nov. I do have to say, I'm team Thorn although I love Nick too but for her, I'm team Thorn....at least for now. Oh BTW, to my partner in crime, my niece Rebecca , You can read this book baby.

5 out of 5 books!
