YOU FLIRT WITH FIRE...
For Aoife Dakar, seeing is believing-and she's seen some extraordinary things. It's too bad no one else believes that she witnessed a supernatural murder at an outdoor fair. Returning to the scene for proof, Aoife encounters a wise-cracking demon dog-and a gloriously naked man who can shift into a dragon and kiss like a god. Now thrust into a fantastical world that's both exhilarating and terrifying, Aoife is about to learn just how hot a dragon's fire burns.
WHEN YOU DATE A DRAGON
Kostya has no time for a human woman with endless questions, no matter how gorgeous or tempting she is. He must break the curse that has splintered the dragon clans before more of his kind die. But his powerful attraction to Aoife runs much deeper than the physical-and there may be more to her than even his sharp dragon eyes can see. To survive the coming battle for the fate of his race, he needs a mate of true heart and soul . . .

Toot's Review by Stacy Sabala
Aoife has been in a psychiatric hospital for two years. Her family placed her there after she claims she saw a man murdered then disappear into thin air. The man who killed him disappeared into a poof of black smoke. She has worked hard to believe that she imagined the whole incident. Her doctor even gave her shock treatment. Once she was released she settles into her childhood home in Sweden.
Her life changed immediately. She accidentally hit a dog with her car. After taking him to the vet, she becomes responsible for him. Then later she finds a man unconscious on the beach. After getting him medical attention, she also becomes responsible for him. The careful work her doctor did becomes undone quickly when the dog talks revealing he is really a demon and the man, Kostya, is a dragon.
The dragons have been cursed and can’t be in the other’s company, nor can they understand each other to communicate. Aoife is in possession of the ring that could break the curse. She has no clue until Kostya sees it. She is now in danger. The red dragons are trying to attack Kostya and Aoife is now a target. She is thrust into a world she was told didn’t exist.
As she is pulled in even more, Kostya becomes more important to her. Then she is surprised and hurt when everything goes wrong. A person she trusts explicitly has betrayed her. Life is never going to be the same.
I love this author. I have read every book in this series so far. I was excited to read Kostya’s story. His character has had a difficult time and needed someone special. Aoife also has had a difficult time and they are an excellent pairing. She was sassy and refused to let Kostya or Jim walk all over her. She was also pretty accepting of the otherworld.
I do, however, think some of the conversations almost border lined on the ridiculous but it was great fun to read. I love the humor that the author infuses throughout.
The war is going to get worse before it gets better. In fact Aoife tries her best to help but seems to make things worse. You got to love her for it. Great characters, great humor and wonderful addition to the series. I give it a 4 out of 5.
