Willow has these nightmares where this man lurks in the shadows watching her. She also can feel others’ emotions and see images of people who are not there. Her parents become nervous when part of her nightmare follows her into reality. Her father explains that he is from another dimension and it is time to go home. They travel in the string to get there and his friend is a traveler who will take them home.
Willow is shocked and confused. She has no idea whether her parents have finally lost it. They tell her that she is special and the man in her nightmares is after her to take her to an evil dimension. Willow needs to find the boy with the blue eyes to help her. She now knows he is real.
He is real and his name is Landen. He is her soul-mate and he has been searching for her. They are a celebrated couple in Chara. They have unique powers together including telepathy. The history of the dimensions is front and center as it is revealed who Willow and Landen really are. Secrets are revealed and lives are threatened as Willow and Landen face the trials they are brought together to win.
The storyline was a little confusing at first with Willow’s dreams. Her nightmares were dark and scary containing Drake in the shadows. Then they would switch to Landen. Two boys that she is destined to choose between. However only one is her soulmate and she already knows who.
I’m such a sucker for soulmate stories and the different dimensions twist was intriguing. Once I got into the story I liked how it unfolded. It was definitely different from anything I’ve read before which boosted its likability. It was paranormal and romance rolled into one great story. It will be interesting to see how the author takes the story. This Insight series combines with The See series from this author. I want to see how the world evolves and the characters continue to relate to each other. Willow and Landen’s story continues and their path is full of difficulties. The author has created the beginning of an interesting journey for the readers. I give it a 4 out of 5.
