Round 1
In this corner is admittedly romantic Jenna Wilinski, who’s inherited a rather seedy boxing gym from her estranged father. With it, she can realize her dream of launching an upscale matchmaking business…provided she can take on the very intimidating—and wickedly hot—boxer who stands in her way!
Round 2
In the far corner is former pro boxer Mercer Rowley. He’s the only one who can protect his “home”—even if it is a little run-down— from his determined and feisty little opponent. But man, once the gloves come off, his hands just want to touch her everywhere…
Round 3
This matchup is too close to call. But no matter which contender comes out on top, the other is sure to enjoy every minute of it....

Toot's Review
So as my faithful followers know, I love me some Cara McKenna and Meg McGuire is her evil twin or her other pen name, take your pick. Cara's books is usually fall more under the Erotic genre where Meg is more HEA stuff, either way, I love it, I'll read it, I'll pet it and call it my precious, LOL.
Making him sweat basically falls into the CR category. It's about a lady, Jenna, who inherits a boxing gym and some additional property from a father she never really knew. Jenna is just starting her life and is eager to check out her new inherited business and make some major changes. The gym is a total money pit and completely in the red. It's loosing money fast. Jenna has decided she is going to close the gym unless it can turn a profit in a few short months and in the meantime she's going to embark on a new dating business as well. What she didn't count on in her new life plan is the hunky pro boxer/trainer/manager of the gym Mercer and he won't go down without a fight. As Jenna's deadline approaches, who's going to win this battle?
Ok so you saw I prefaced this review with my love of Cara/Meg but even though I have mad love for the woman and her writing, I'll still give you an honest review. I did listen to this one on audio book because I think it's one of the first I have seen of Meg's in audio format and I wanted to see the difference and see if it would change my opinion on anything......Nope, still loved it!!! What I love about Meg's books is that I get all the wonderful character development and unique stories that I associate with Cara but in these I get a HEA and this one doesn't disappoint but come on, does she ever? The chemestry between the two main characters is smoldering and albiet a little uncoventional but again, that's what we love about Meg. Things seem to happen with them very natually although a bit out of tradional order but it's still a very natual pairing. I also love the growth of the characters as the story goes on. Jenna starts out hating her father, hating the gym and has her life all mapped out until she encounters Mercer and vice versa, Mercer also has his life wrapped up in the gym until Jenna up-ends it. I could easily see this book starting a series *keeping fingers crossed*. I not only loved the main characters but Meg experately sets up the background characters, so much so, that you want to read about their futures as well.
If you love sweaty man-cave Boston gyms, start-up dating services, father/daughter relationships, mysteries, pushy bosses and the bruisers who love them. Definitely think about adding Making Him Sweat to your TBR pile.
